Exciting News!!
Great Start Detroit/Wayne and Henry Ford Medical New Center One Detroit Pediatricians and Pediatric Nurses have been trained as Talking is Teaching Trusted Messengers. At well visits the families will receive books, Talking is Teaching bibs, toddler shirts, and other Talking is Teaching materials. This partnerships will help promote early literacy at well visits.
We also have a 5-year partnership with Henry Ford Medical Center Dearborn Pediatricians and Nurses. We are working to expand into more Henry Ford Hospitals soon. These partnerships will build family home libraries and encourage families to attend their well visits.
